This research aims to determine the levels of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) that accumulate in over grown plants (Ipomea reptans Poir). The research method used was descriptive research by measuring levels of lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) over grown plants in the root, stem, and leaf organs by using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (SSA). The samples used were six taken from to different locations. Based on the results of research conducted on over grown plants in Waiheru Village and Laha Village using SSA, it was shown that lead levels (Pb) in land kale of Waiheru Village for the root portion were 0.4829 mg/kg, for the stem section of 1.3866 mg/kg, and for the leaf portion of 0.9399 mg/kg while for Laha Village the root Pb level was 1.1052 mg/kg, for the stem part it was 2.0764 mg/kg, and for the leaves Pb content was 4.5894 mg/kg. Whereas cadmium levels in the land water spinach of Waiheru Village for the root portion were 0.1133 mg/kg, for the stem trees it was 1.4286 mg/kg, and for the leaves as much as 1.4334 mg/kg and for Laha Village Cd levels at the roots were 0.2673 mg/kg, for stems of 0.2277 mg/kg and for leaves Cd content is 0.1761 mg/kg. Whereas acoording to the SNI for Pb metal is a big 0.5 mg/kg and for Cd 0.2 mg/kg.
